Join the GGArmy on Tour
GGArmy on Tour is back! The Green and Gold Army are excited by the recent news that the group's travel partner, Event Travel Office (ETO), have been successful in securing ticketing and travel for the Socceroos' all-important World Cup qualifying series that will unfold over the next 11 months.
In just under a year, fingers crossed, the Socceroos will have booked their ticket to the nation's second successive FIFA World Cup, and members of Australia's international football supporters network will now have their opportunity to join fellow passionate football fans in playing their own part in football history.
In an agreement with Football Federation Australia, GGArmy on Tour will offer fans ticketing and travel options for the Socceroos' home-and-away matches against Japan, Qatar and Bahrain and the home match up against Uzbekistan.
"We are pleased that ETO, who ran our successful GGArmy on Tour program at the 2007 AFC Asian Cup and FFA's travel program in Kunming, China, are teaming up with our group to again provide supporters with some great fan-based packages to support the Socceroos with pride all over the globe," enthuses GGArmy spokesman Aaron Zoanetti.
The programs ETO facilitate, including GGArmy on Tour, are unique in that they offer fans a vast array of choice at reasonable prices.
"GGArmy on Tour offers supporters flexibility in their travel experience which is a big positive for Socceroo fans from all walks of life on different budgets, which is important given our diverse membership base both in terms of geography and demography and I can't wait for the next trip" said Zoanetti.
GGArmy on Tour will be providing travel solutions (tickets, accommodation, events & tours) for the following matches;
- Australia v Qatar (Brisbane) - 15 October 2008;
- Japan v Australia (Venue TBA, Japan) - 11 February 2009;
- Australia v Uzbekistan (Venue TBA) - 1 April 2009;
- Qatar v Australia (Doha, Qatar) - 6 June 2009;
- Australia v Bahrain (Venue TBA) - 10 June 2009;
- Australia v Japan (Venue TBA) - 17 June 2009;
GGArmy on Tour will also be providing options for friendly matches as announced from time to time by Football Federation Australia.
